A field of blue with an crenellated border of white edged in blue. Centred on the blue field a golden full-rigged ship, the Don De Dieu.
The Don de Dieu was that of Samuel de Champlain, the city's founder. The crenellated border represents both the city walls of Quebec City, as well as the fortified city of Brouage, Saintonge, France; where Samuel de Champlain was born.
