About

This version of the flag of Honduras is a misprint of the original design; a horizontal triband of blue, white, and blue, entered on the white band, five inverted stars of blue form an 'X' pattern. In 1895, Honduras was a part of the Republica Mayor de Centroamerica whose flag had gold stars on it. When the old Honduras flag came back into use, the stars were often manufactured with gold stars instead of the official blue.
